Chocolate “Ice Cream”
This recipe took me years to develop!
You won’t believe the secret ingredients that
produce a rich chocolate ice cream that adults
and kids love. And because there’s no table
sugar and it’s so protein-rich, this can replace a
meal—with NO guilt! Great for a hot day dinner!
Healthy Chocolate “Ice Cream”
Peel and slice into ½ inch chunks
2 large or 3 smaller bananas
Put into plastic bags and freeze at least
3 hours
In Food Processor put:
Frozen bananas (separated)
1/2 cup coffee ( or 1 tsp. instant
coffee plus 1/2 c. water ) or you may
use just the water without the coffee.
2 eggs
1 tsp. vanilla
4 rounded scoops chocolate
whey protein powder
1/4 cup cocoa
3/4 cup natural peanut butter
(For those who are allergic to peanut
butter ricotta cheese may be substituted)
Process until smooth.
Pour into *plastic containers.
Freeze 2-3 hours for soft-serve.
If frozen overnight or longer, it will get harder
than regular ice cream but never rock hard.
To serve, set out for just about 10 minutes
before serving.
Serves 4-6
Quick Tip:
*As a simpler serving suggestion for kids:
pour into individual containers like paper cups
before freezing. Then use a spoon to eat it from
the cup after it’s been out of the freezer for
five to ten minutes.
$ Tip:
My favorite whey protein powder is available
online at the following link :
Dr.Mercola’s product has all super ingredients,
but if you want to have whey powder
immediately, many local stores (such as Walmart)
now carry whey powders, too.
